
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Painting (1993) and a Master’s degree in Visual Arts (1995) from the National Academy of Fine Arts San Alejandro in Havana, Cuba. He currently divides his time between Palma de Mallorca, Spain, and Brazil, keeping as the core of his artistic research the memories of the landscapes of his native land.
His work unfolds through paintings, sculptures, and installations that combine realistic imagery with the poetry of his personal imagination. He has held solo exhibitions at renowned galleries and institutions such as RFT Fine Art (Miami, USA), Saatchi Gallery (London, UK), Leo Gallery (Hong Kong, China), Olivier Houg Galerie (France), Galería Horrach Moyà (Palma de Mallorca, Spain), Galeria Inox (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil), Museu d’Art Modern i Contemporani Es Baluard (Palma de Mallorca, Spain), MC Gallery (Seoul, South Korea), Triumph Gallery (Moscow, Russia), Mario Mauroner Galerie (Salzburg, Austria), and
Galería Lluçià Homs (Barcelona, Spain), among others.
He has also participated in group exhibitions in numerous cities around the world, including Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Mexico City,
Holbox, Havana, Miami, New York, Barcelona, and Ibiza, consolidating an international career of wide recognition.
